The mixer consists essentially in a horizontal stainless steel mixing container with helical mixing shaft. The container is thermally insulated and comes complete with heating element and probe sensor which provide uniform temperature control.
The container can be easily tilted by the electric motor for the unloading operation.
The control panel includes: a digital display to monitor mixing temperature, a digital thermo-regulator, a mixing speed controller and various commands.

The Bitumix mixer can be used as part of your Superpave performance based testing program.

Robust table mounted units with planetary mixing action. The bowl and whisk can be easily fit and removed from the mixer. When lifting the transparent cover, a safety switch cuts off the mixer for the operator safety as prescribed by CE.
The planetary action ensures a complete and uniform mixing of the materials.

For mixing asphalt samples, the mixers have to be fit with the suitable Isomantle heater (available as separate accessory).

Mixing stainless steel beater and heavy duty hook available as accessories.

Laboratory digital planetary mixer
