50 mm three gang cube moulds are produced for compression testing.
The dimension is compatible with ASTM C109. Made from steel, precisely machined.

65-L0080: 50 mm three gang cube mould
This machined three-gang mould from Gilson has a diagonal design and a detachable stainless steel base plate. The included wing nuts secure the mold to the base and secure the mold sections together. Highly resistant to corrosion and easy to clean.

HM-296M: Stainless Steel Cube Mould for ISO testing, dimensions are 50x50mm

Hydraulic shrinkage moulds 40x40x160 mm from CONTROLS:

The 62-L0009/G version is used for the determination of linear shrinkage of cement mortars (EN 12617-4). The same mould can be used for testing grouts conforming to EN 12808-4 replacing the standard plugs with the 62-L0010/H2 and placing two 15x40x160 mm plastic inserts 62-L0010/H3 inside each compartment.
Three gang mould, individually tested with certified instruments. Made of special alloy steel, minimum hardness HV200.
The shrinkage measurement has to be done with the 62-L0035/A Length comparator.

The 62-L0009 version, conforming to UNI 6687, slightly differ from the 62-L0009/G version and it is used for the same determination.
Three gang moulds 40x40x160 mm, EN compliant are used to produce the mortar specimens for compression and flexural tests.

Made from special alloy steel, they are proposed in two versions from CONTROLS:

  • Standard 65-L0010/A having a minimum surface hardness of HV200
  • Heavy duty 65-L0010/B having a minimum surface hardness of HV400 which is recommended by the EN standards. Furthermore, this model is surface protected by a rust inhibitor treatment and is supplied complete with traceable certificate of conformity and identified by a serial number.

Both models can be fit with the 65-L0010/5 type B measuring pegs for determining the coefficient of thermal expansion conforming to EN 1770.

Jolting apparatus used to compact the 40x40x160 mm cement prisms in the mould, has been developed to fulfill precisely the EN and ISO standards. Each single requirement as, for example, weigh distribution, dimensions, structural design and working cycle is individually checked and verified.
