Flexural Frame for Standard Beams, 150 kN cap.
A simple and practical frame developed for testing on standard concrete beams. High stiffness flexural frame, 200 kN cap., SIMPLEX
This high stiffness flexural frame has been especially designed for displacement controlled testing on advanced construction materials, e.g. fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) and sprayed concrete. These tests are significantly affected by the actual frame stiffness therefore the relevant international Standards state stiffness limits which are exceeded by this new model (better than 200 kN/mm). The new layout also allows easier frontal specimen loading and positioning. The horizontal daylight accommodates large specimens (slab, flagstones), concrete beams and kerbs long up to 650 mm. This high stiffness flexural frame has been designed to have a double testing mode: parallel and orthogonal. Parallel mode is meant to be used for displacement controlled testing on advanced construction materials, e.g. fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) and sprayed concrete. Orthogonal mode is meant to be used to test specimens with more than 650mm length. 50-C1500/FR: DUPLEX - Parallel and orthogonal testing mode - 200 kN cap. high rigidity flexural frame, complete with pressure transducer and connection kit for separate control console. In addition the frame is suitable to host round FRC slab to ASTM C1550. Universal, open structure flexural frame, 300 kN cap.
UNIFLEX 300 flexural frame has been designed to satisfy the stringent requirements prescribed by the standards concerning, above all, the determination of deformability and ductility index of sprayed concrete and fiber reinforced concrete. The “C” shaped open structure allows an easy and practical front loading but, once the specimen is in the loading position, the structure is closed by a vertical rod hydraulically clamped and controlled to compensate frame deformation during the test thus ensuring high rigidity. Fitted with high precision strain gauge load cell for accurate and reliable test results.
