Drierite Gas Drying Unit and Drierite

The Drierite Gas Drying Unit is an all-purpose dryer used to protect vacuum pumps from harmful moisture in de-airing specific gravity of asphalt. It is designed to dry air to -100°F dew point at atmospheric pressure or pressures up to 90 psi.

Indicating Drierite, No. 8 Granules are blue desiccant crystals which contain cobalt chloride, and rapidly absorb water vapor from air and gases. They change from blue to pink when moisture-saturated.

The crystals can be regenerated in an oven for repeated use.
