Liquid Limit Devices (Casagrande)

The grooving tools, which also refer to the different Standards, are not included and have to ordered separately.
CONTROLS models are not certified to NZS, the cup may or may not pass calibration due to very specific requirements.

The Australian liquid limit device is a hand operated unit designed and manufactured to conform to Australian Standards (AS1289.3).
A carefully machined unit, the cup height is fully adjustable and the drop is set at 10mm at the time of manufacture. A calibration certificate of the hardness of the block can be supplied with the machine at extra cost.
Also available is machine fitted with an electric motor which gives the required rate of two revolutions per second. A mechanical counter is fitted which automatically records the number of drops during a test.
